A woman in Huntsville is facing charges of DUI after she is released from the hospital.

According to officials with the Huntsville Police Department, the woman was injured in a one vehicle accident at the intersection of University DRive an Providence Main early Wednesday morning. Police say the woman was heading east when she lost control of her vehicle and careened into the city of Providence sign.

The woman is expected to make a full recovery.

A blood test administered at the hospital showed the woman was above the legal limit for alcohol at the time of the crash. She will be arrested upon her release from the hospital.
