Rhode Island Police arrested 83 people over the weekend and issued out 607 tickets.

According to state troopers, 13 people were arrested driving while intoxicated, 607 were ticketed for traffic offenses and 126 were cited for failure to wear seat belts.

Motorists are also encouraged to report  any reckless drivers to police officials, especially because the highway conditions are slightly hazardous at this time.
